This week I came home to a huge box on my kitchen table. I had forgotten about it, so was thrilled to find a Party in a Box from Party City when I opened it. That wasn’t the actual name (although maybe they should consider it). It is the Ultimate Party Kit with a Pirate theme.
- Pinata with the Candy and Toys to fill it
- Plates, Napkins, Plastic Silverware, and Cups
- Invitations to the Party
- Toys to give to the other kids, plus noise makers (to send home with them!)
- Centerpieces & Tablecloths
- Banner & Streamers
- Bat and Blindfold for the Pinata
- They even included candles!
I have never thrown a party that was half as cute and coordinated as this one is going to be. Most of the time my kids are lucky to get a decorated cake instead of one we picked up already decorated because I forgot all about it until the day of the party. Not this year!
While I am super excited about the Party Kit, I was also really impressed with the variety and creativity of the other birthday decorations Party City offers. I was especially excited about the pinatas. Here are a few of my favorites.
The only down side I can see from this kit is that now my other two will expect a party of the same caliber. I will likely be buying all of my birthday party supplies from Party City, since the standard has now been set. I am aching to try some of the Princess themes for Chloe now that I’ve seen them. The Princess and the Frog is SO pretty!
Although I received this Party Kit for free from Party City so that I could review it, I am very serious when I say that this package is incredible. It is also SO darn convenient to have it all taken care of without having to piece the decorations and things together. Plus you can order it all on-line! For the convenience alone, it is worth buying the package. Stay tuned for party pictures toward the end of the month.
Have you ever ordered from Party City? If so, what did you think?
