5 Fabulous Bloggers – Why I Love Them and Why You Will Too!

5 Fabulous Bloggers – Why I Love Them and Why You Will Too!

Thanks to Trop50 for sponsoring my writing about fabulous bloggers. This year Trop50 is granting 50 Fabulous Wishes. Click here to enter for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous!

I was very excited to be selected to write this post because there are so many fabulous bloggers that I’ve met through this blogging adventure of mine and I love having an opportunity to share them with you.  I have been bowled away by the range of talent, support, and just downright great content that is provided on blogs every day.  How did I not know about this before I started blogging?

My Five Bloggers

It was very difficult to narrow the list down to just five.  Ultimately I chose the ones that I thought would be most interesting to you and may not have made it on your radar yet.  For example, I figure most of you know about Ree from Pioneer Woman, Darren Rowse of ProBlogger, Brian Clark from Copyblogger, Dan from Single Dad Laughing, and Jill from Scary Mommy – (if not, go check them out), but I thought there was a chance you hadn’t yet discovered these gems.  To narrow it down even further I’ve focused on Colorado bloggers to expose you to other great resources in our area.  If you’re not from Colorado, you will still appreciate the information and talent from these ladies!

Chris Byrd @ Mama Bird’s Blog – I met Chris via twitter and had no idea what an absolute treasure I had stumbled upon.  She is one of the sweetest, well intentioned and socially connected women I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.  Chris introduced me to Mile Hi Mamas, to Colorado Moms, to other local bloggers, to sponsored blogging opportunities and a whole new world of fabulous people and moms.  She is always up for getting together with other moms and is an incredible connector of people.

Fiona @ Bantering Blonde – Fiona is an incredibly talented and engaged woman.  She and I clicked with our shared interest in Kiva.org and it has grown from there.  She has a wonderful writing style, great sense of humor, is incredibly connected in Social Media and is a busy SM Consultant, supermom and soon to be marathoner!  She has founded multiple ventures for improving communities and uplifting moms and is an inspiration for the difference that one person can make.

Barb @ Mom Off Track – Barb is one of the most experienced bloggers that I’ve had the pleasure to meet.  She is a blogging and social media influence guru.  The most amazing thing about Barb?  She willingly shares her knowledge and experience with anyone and everyone – experienced and fledgling bloggers alike (as do Chris and Fiona).  I have learned so much from these three ladies!

Gina @ Special Happens – Gina writes a blog about special needs children and the unique parenting challenges that come with raising children with special needs.  She is very upbeat, outgoing, and a great resource for other parents traveling this unique path.  She is also a connector of people, supportive, intelligent and engaged in her community.  I am very happy to have met her and to count her as a friend.

My friend Brent – Brent writes a personal blog that is a great insight into a wonderful woman and friend.  She is not a “professional” blogger and blogs more to connect with her friends and to clear her head than to influence via social media.  She is very active on twitter and uses it as her platform to inform and influence.  She is the type of friend that comes over to hang out on a Saturday night and brings crafts for us to do with the kids.  She is the type that goes Goodwill shopping, to a Rockie’s game, or out for drinks.  She is always up for  getting together and has been an incredibly supportive friend – not just to me, but to all her friends.

There are plenty of other fabulous bloggers out there that I would love to honor, so I think I’ll have to do a follow up post to highlight the strengths and talents of some of the wonderful people I’ve had the fortune to meet and connect with along this blogging journey.   Thank you everyone!

Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to celebrate a friend with a refreshing attitude about looking and feeling fabulous. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.
