Make Father’s Day Special by Volunteering

Unsafe or unhealthy living conditions at home account for many of the leading causes of preventable fatality, illness and disability in the United States today.  Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities, and HUD (the US Department of Housing and Urban Development) will lead a major rebuilding effort on Hazel Court in the Barnum neighborhood (in Denver).

Come out for a few hours or a full day this weekend to help your neighbors!  Volunteers are needed most on Sunday, June 19th to help put the finishing touches on the homes and prepare for the ribbon-cutting and community celebration.  Work includes painting, landscaping, small repairs and debris clean-up.  Breakfast, lunch & a free t-shirt are included.  Thank you for your dedication to serving homeowners in need!

  1. What a fantastic idea! Going to see if hubby will go for it… after all, I got to spend Mother’s Day relaxing and being waited on! lol! But, this looks fun! Thanks, Daria!
