The movie was very family friendly and reminded me a lot of an After School Special from when I was a kid. It had a great moral, which was basically that you should do the right thing. It also conveyed that money shouldn’t drive decisions and that family bonds are important. The acting wasn’t the best I’ve ever seen – it definitely had that made for TV feel – but that was also part of its charm. This is definitely a movie that you can feel good watching with children of any age and if we’re home when it airs, my kids and I will probably watch it again.
Here’s a sneak peak:
There will also be a #FamilyMovie Twitter Party on 9/1 from 3:00-4:00PM EST where they’ll be giving away $50 gift cards. If you are on twitter, please consider joining in!
