Taco biscuits are super simple and the kids LOVED it. Even my picky eater raved about them and wanted more. Although it’s tasty – it’s not labor intensive. I promise that all of the recipes I’m sharing are super easy. I have to admit that I haven’t quite gotten used to the sweet biscuit flavor with my taco meat, but because the kids love this recipe so much we will definitely be having it again. Plus, the kids get to use the rolling pin which is always a big hit (hopefully not used to hit their siblings).
Taco Biscuit Ingredients:
- Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
- Taco meat
- Toppings of your choice
Taco Biscuit Directions:
First roll the biscuits out flat.
Then fill with cooked taco meat and cheese.
Close the biscuit edges and bake per the biscuit instructions. We tried a variety of shapes and decided the calzone shape worked well and also the one that looked like an onion. Matt suggested crimping the edges with a fork to keep them closed better. I’ll try that next time.
Top with your favorites, or just eat plain.
