This was my second attempt at Week 3 of Couch to 5K and I finished it this week! Other than my left calf killing me (either a charlie horse that won’t go away or a tear to my calf muscle) from this morning’s
stumble run, everything went well and a 3minute jog no longer feels like an eternity.
I’m a little nervous about a 5 minute jog which starts in Week 4 (basically this week). But, 90 seconds winded me at first and now that is a breeze, so I will have faith the same will hold true for the 5 minute mark.
I just need to tell myself “Just Keep Moving” when it gets tough…one more step, just one more, and another. After telling myself “just one more step” often enough I am at my destination! Hmm, life lesson in there somewhere?
- I lost 0.0 lbs.
- Total weight loss = -1.4 pounds.
- First goal = Lose 10 pounds (8.6 to go)
I didn’t meet my goals for this week since they included losing weight and I stayed even, but I did get more fit and I did lose some inches which is even more important than scale #’s.

Just keep moving. Even if you’re not motivated. Even if you don’t think you can. Just put one foot in front of the other until you reach the end. You are worth it.
