A monthly wine club membership is one of my absolute favorite gifts to receive (hint, hint – hubs – my birthday IS approaching).
When I bought my first house waaay back in 2000, my real estate agent gave me a year’s wine club membership as a closing gift.
I have since then given a few memberships to people as gifts for various occasions and they have ALL thought it was one of the best gifts they’ve ever received.
What’s the bid deal you might say? Think about it this way…
You’re up at 6am to get the kids ready and off to school.
You work all day with cranky staff and clients until your patience is shot – only to get home from work and have cranky kids and spouse to deal with.
Angels sing… There, on the front porch, is a nice box waiting for you. You open it and what do you find? WINE! Waiting for you! Just like that.
No need to find someone to watch the kids while you run to the store. No need to give hubs that look. The one that says if you want to continue to have living children, you need to go buy me some wine right now.
I was fortunate enough to be picked to review a 3 month membership to California Wine Club via my relationship with Mom Spark Media. I received my first shipment (a bottle of red wine and a bottle of white wine) a few weeks ago and trust me – it was one of my favorite days that week.
I haven’t tried the red yet, but the wine – a Chardonnay – was fabulous. Very light and smooth. I am not a fan of dry or oak-y, so if you are, then perhaps you want to select a different wine. But, this bottle was clearly not the $5 clearance bottles from Costco. It is a very nice quality wine. I can’t wait to find out what I’ll get next month! Don’t worry – I’ll let you know.
If YOU too want wine delivered to your door I have a promo code for you to get 10% off your first order! Use code mommanagement - and then enjoy!
You can find out more about prices and selection on The California Wine Club’s website or their Facebook page or twitter. Also, Jon Boring (California Wine Club) is very knowledgeable and responsive and can be contacted on facebook or twitter.
