I have joked about my problem skin – how I hit the genetic lottery to have both wrinkles and adult acne at the same time. But if I’m honest, and not using humor to deflect from my feelings, it really bothers me.
- My weight – I accept responsibility for and can do something about.
- My perpetual bedhead, not straight, not curly hair – I can get a haircut that makes it look cute and intentionally messy.
- My mousy light brown color – I can put in blond highlights.
- But my skin? A solution isn’t as easy.
On top of my existing concerns, I’ve noticed a third issue – dark splotches from sun exposure.
Seriously? Acne and wrinkles weren’t enough?
This is where the great skin and extra money possibilities come in to play.
I received an email asking if I’d be interested in reviewing the Aloette AloePure products and giving the same package away to a reader. Why not? Can’t be any worse than what I have now and it may even work! So I agreed.
The package I reviewed (Aloepure) has three items:
- Gentle Foaming Cleanser,
- Skin Refining Toner, and
- Restorative Enzyme Peel
I have been very impressed with the products. The foaming cleanser has a very smooth texture and smells faintly like grapefruit (to me anyway). It is also a beautiful pale pink pearl color.
The toner works very well and makes my face feel fresh. I have oily skin, so I am very happy that the toner and cleanser together get rid of the oil, but don’t feel like they’ve dried out my skin (creating wrinkles).
My clear favorite though is the Enzyme Peel. I can literally see and feel dead skin coming off of my face! It doesn’t make my face red and I haven’t felt any tenderness – just smoother skin after I’ve used it. This has been great for reducing those dark splotches from sun exposure and it’s also worked on my acne scars too.
I was a little skeptical that I was just seeing what I wanted to see – I’m using a new product, therefore my skin must look better – self delusion. But the other day at coffee my friend Jessica commented that my skin looks really good and she asked what I’ve been doing differently. Yay! It actually does work!
Aloette Consultant Opportunity
Considering that I love the products (and will therefore be buying them and advocating them to my friends) I am giving serious thought to joining the Aloette Consultant team. The perks are pretty great:
- The products sell themselves.
- I can work from home.
- I’ll get a discount on product that I buy for myself.
- I could win a vacation!
- Potential to earn money (not chump change either).
I’m not sure if now’s the right time since I’m starting a new job and starting a new company – feeling like I would probably be overwhelmed if I added Aloette to the list, but it’s tempting. If you join as a consultant please let me know so I can buy my products from you!
My friend Racing and Saving Mama is also hosting this giveaway – go join hers for more chances to win!
