Messy Memories with My Daughter

Messy Memories with My Daughter

If you are a parent, forget that – if you have survived to adulthood, then I’m sure you have your share of memories involving a mess.   Clorox and the Sits Girls have asked us to share some of those messy memories.

The majority of the messes that immediately came to mind for me involved my daughter Chloe.  She is 3 years old, incredibly independent, and a magnet for messes.  Thank goodness for all the stain removers we have!

There was the time she insisted on feeding herself her own ice cream sundae at her brothers’ school social:

The There’s Something About Mary moment she enjoyed after getting her hands on (or rather into) a jar of vaseline:

The time she decided she wanted red tights so proceeded to paint them on with nail polish:

And last but not least, the recreated murder scene I found in my bedroom after she painted her nails while sitting in our bed (it was on Dad’s watch!):

I’m sad to say that even with the lauded skills of Tide and Clorox, the quilt’s days were ended with this spectacular mess.

Who’s the messiest person in your family?

**Disclosure:  I received information about Clorox’s Bleach It Away campaign and am sharing my messy moment for the chance to win prizes from The SITS Girls. To learn more about the messy moment program, check out  Sharing your story on the Clorox fan page gets you entered for the chance to win $25,000 and daily prizes, and you can grab a coupon for Clorox® Regular Bleach.
