For the past 3 months I’ve been blessed with a membership to California Wine Club. Each month I would hear the doorbell ring, I’d walk to the door taking mental bets on whether the person was going to hand me religious pamphlets or sell me magazines and then I’d open the door to a much more welcome surprise.
My monthly delivery from California Wine Club would be sitting on my doorstep eager for me to open it and see what treasure I’d been graced with that month. I am definitely going to miss my monthly delivery of wine. The selections were always good, always tasty, and always inspiring.
I really hope my husband considers a wine club membership for Christmas this year. Not only would it be a gift for Christmas day, but then once a month I’d be reminded how thoughtful he was!
It would be a great client gift too for the same reason – standard marketing classes teach that a person needs 8 “touches” to remember a brand. A monthly reminder of your firm would take care of that for you and keep you prominent in their minds! I’ve recently started my own consulting firm, and hope to save up a marketing budget to allow me to gift a few clients with a wine club membership.
