With the economy the way it is and the possibility of a depression rivaling the Great Depression, we are all looking to stretch a buck as far as possible. Heck, even in fabulous economic times, we want to get a good deal for our money. Right?
About six weeks ago some fellow bloggers brought nomorerack to my attention as a resource for finding great
deals steals on products. An ipad for only $43? Unbelievable!
But it’s true. Nomorerack has what they call insanity deals. A few of the past ones are shown in the photo above:
- iPad – $43
- 52″ HDTV – $60
- Louis Vuitton Handbag – $18
- Gucci Sunglasses – $10
No matter how strict your budget may be, it would be criminal to pass up deals like those. You may be skeptical, but I have confirmed that it is true. Granted, I haven’t been lucky enough to snag one of these insane discounts, but I do know people that have gotten them (personally). It is genuine. People actually do get these products for those prices.
The insanity deals alone make this site worth checking out, but they aren’t the only appeal. Nomorerack also has a free deal every day, a charity deal, and vacation deals.
The free deal is just that – free. It’s not a free iPad or anything, but it’s usually a decent product. For example, today’s is a no slip dashboard pad – the kind you can put your phone on or whatnot so they don’t slide around when you turn a corner. You pay a flat $2 shipping on any item, so ultimately the free item will cost $2 out of pocket. Not too shabby.
The charity deal is an awesome concept. An item is selected to be the charity item for the day and then for each purchased, nomorerack donates $1 to charity. The current charity they are supporting is The Pet Rescue Center. I’m pretty sure they alternate the charities of the day.
The deals I am most excited about are the vacation deals. They work similarly to the insanity deals and randomly pop up. The prize? A vacation for two for a whopping $5.64. It includes airfare! After the incredibly difficult year my husband and I endured in 2011, a vacation would be incredibly welcome. Of course, with our extremely tight budget, any vacation ideas are just dreams at this point – unless, of course, we could get one for $5!
The vacation deals are only running through tomorrow, so fingers crossed I luck into one of them. Any extra good vacation wishes would be appreciated.
