Guacamole is super simple to make and tastes delicious. Fresh guacamole is definitely a recipe you should have in your arsenal, especially as summer approaches.
First you need 4 to 5 avocados. An easy trick to get the pit out is to cut the avocado in half, hit the pit with a sharp knife, twist slightly and it will come out.
Once the avocado pit is out, you can squeeze the avocado meat into a bowl – starting the mashing process needed for the guacamole.
Add the rest of the ingredients to taste:
- Juice of a lime
- Cayenne Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Diced Jalapeno Pepper
- Chopped Fresh Cilantro
- 1/2 a Medium Tomato Diced
- Salt to taste
Then find a cutie petootie like I did and ask her to mash it all up and stir it all together.
You’ll end up with a brilliant green guacamole treat that is full of healthy items.
Serve with tortilla chips, or on top of your burger, or with a turkey club sandwich and enjoy!
