Welcome to Week 1 of the Meet My Goals Challenge! I am excited to get started sharing our goals each week and then seeing how everyone did meeting them. I know I need some extra accountability and am hoping these 10 weeks will help us see some real progress and also form some new habits. Bathing suit season starts next weekend, yikes!
The intent of this 10 week challenge is to help you identify and commit to attainable weekly goals. If you aren’t sure what goals you want to set for yourself, please don’t hesitate to take a look at the goals others are choosing and remember these do not have to be scale goals. As an example, here are my goals for this week.
Week 1 Goals
I have been soothing my emotions with food and alcohol this past week and although the scale was gentle to me the first few days, it has finally caved to the pressure and showed that I’ve gained a few pounds. Thank goodness we are starting the challenge! To turn this around, my goals for this week include:
- Drink no alcohol.
- Follow Nutrisystem plan with only exceptions being meals with clients.
- Exercise 3 times.

I do not expect any of you to weigh in each week, but I promised myself that if I gained weight I would reveal my actual numbers. The threat has kept me on track for a few weeks, but no longer – so time to fess up.
- Highest Weight – 223
- Current Weight – 216
- Total Loss – 7.0 lbs
So, there you have it. From now on I will share my actual #’s.
As a side note, why does sharing real numbers feel like I’m standing in front of you all naked?
We all have our own issues I suppose.
