Week 3 Report

Last week my goals were to:

  • Exercise 3 times.
  • Follow Nutrisystem plan minimum of 4 days.

Sad to say I only exercised one time versus the 3 I was aiming for – but this is a new week and I’m sticking to the same goals.

I did manage to lose a pound though.  Woohoo!

  • Last Week’s Weight – 213.0
  • Week 3 Results – minus 1.0
  • Current Weight – 212.0
  • Total Loss – 11.0 lbs

Weekly Prizes

You do not need to share your weight in order to win prizes.  Each week you get to pick your goal and if one is a weight loss one, just let us know how much you lost (no need to share starting and ending weight).  At the end of the 10 week period, the person that lost the most pounds (as self reported) will win a prize as will the person that exercised the most minutes.

  1. Ladies,

    I am out as of this weekend. Found out last week I have to have major surgery and no more physical activity is allowed until or after surgery until I am healed. Surgery is this coming week. So, I wish you all the best of luck. I am going to try to move as much as possible and pray I do not gain a bunch of weight. I am cutting out all snack food and alcohol during my recovery period. I will be keeping up with all of you!


    • Oh No Cyn! So sorry to hear it. I wish you a very speedy recovery and am so glad you were able to enjoy your vacation before finding out about this.

      Please feel free to continue with the challenge – goals can be things like drink no soda or drink x amount of water – doesn’t have to be exercise goal.

      I will be thinking about you this week and sending positive surgery vibes your way. Hugs!

      What can we do for you? Pray, of course. Anything specific to pray for? But, is there anything else?

  2. Well, I can hardly stand it! I met my goals! Yay for me!
    Goals for last week:
    Keep up with the foods I’ve been eating: I’ve really been enjoying the same foods daily. So, that helps!
    Exercise 3 times this week: Walked 2x while pushing daughter in stroller and biked 15 miles!
    No Dew: Currently on Day 9 without Dew! Even had a family dinner with friends and they ALL had pop. I had no desire…had my water! :)
    Drink water: I’m faithfully drinking water (and some coffee)
    Double Yippee!

    Goals for week 4:
    Exercise 3 times.
    Continue with no Dew.
    Eat less of the food I’m eating, so I can start to weigh less. I’ll weigh in tomorrow. I’d like to lose 2 lbs this week.

      • Thanks, Daria for the encouragement.
        I’m out for this week. The 15 mile bike ride did some damage that is causing too much pain for vigorous exercise this week. I need to rest, medicate and heal. :(
        I’ll be cheering the rest of you on, though!

All you have to do is leave a comment telling us what your goal is this week (start small and attainable – we want to build momentum) then come back and let us know if you met your goals for the week. Sundays are when I post the “weigh in” and I try to send a reminder e-mail as well, but I’m not as good about getting that out, so you may want to subscribe to email or facebook to make sure you get the notice.   3. I did great with all my goals last week . . . until Friday. I forgot to take my vitamins in the morning and remembered them (of course) whenever I wasn’t home. So then I figured if I am not going to meet my goals for my vitamins, I might as well have a couple drinks, so I drank an entire bottle of wine (that counts as one drink right?). :-) However, I am down to 1.6 lbs this week, yay!!

    This week my goals are going to be:
    continue some sort of “extra” exercise 3x a week
    vitamins everyday!
    100 situps challenge at

  4. Not sure how to figure this lol. I didn’t meet the calorie portion of my goal on Sunday (3rd). Or was Sunday the first day of week 3? I met my exercise goal for week 3 and other than that Sunday in question I actually met my calorie goal. I exercised a total of 420 minutes and walked 16 miles total. I need to get a digital scale, I’m not sure if I lost any weight, if so it wasn’t enough to get me into the next 5 pound bracket to make it easy to see a difference on my analog scale.

    Keeping the same goals:
    1. Eat at least 2150 calories every day
    2. Walk at least 2 miles, 3 days this week

  5. Ugh! I was lazy (skipped 2 workouts), broke down and had a muffin on Friday, and gained 1/2 a pound.
    Back to it! Same goals – Follow my Body Revolution program, no goodies at the coffee shop, drink lots of water.

  6. Sorry guys didn’t make goal of exercising last week. My goal is to continue with water intake and exercise atleast 3x this week..

  7. 1) Lost 2 pounds
    2) Managed 12 miles of training (was trying for 15).

    1) Continue to monitor my diet
    2) 15 miles of training

  8. Hey ladies. Thought I would touch base. I am up and around finally. Doing lots of walking around the house to stay active. I am feeling good, I just tire easily. I was scared to death to weigh yesterday but I did and I have managed to gain 1.5 lbs so, it is not all bad news. I hope you ladies are doing well on your plans. Keep up the good work. I am rooting for you from the sidelines. :-)
