I was first introduced to this recipe by my friend Marie over at Macaroni Kid and varied it a tad by adding sprinkles versus M&M’s – mostly because that’s what I had in the house at the time.

Directions
Ingredients for these pretzels include:
- Pretzels
- Sprinkles
- Almond Bark
Put the pretzels on wax paper, then melt the almond bark per the directions on the package and use a spoon to drip it over the pretzels and filling the holes. Before it cools, add the sprinkles. Wait until dry (10min) and voila, you’re done!
Personally this was the first I’d ever heard of almond bark – it’s vanilla flavored blocks that you can melt and put on all sorts of things, like white chocolate dipped strawberries, other cookies, etc. You can find it in the baking aisle in most stores.

These look so yummy. I think these are so cute for parties and snacks for the Christmas holidays. I sometime also take the pretzel rods and dip and end in the chocolate and do the same thing with them. Sweet and salty all in one. So easy to make

This is a good transformation of the classic pretzels. It looks festive so it just right for the holidays. A good addition to your table and I am sure the kids will love it.
These look and sound so good. Sweet and salty and easy to make. I have seen the pretzel rods done with chocolate. Im sure you can do nuts or coconut or colored sprinkles on them to for a variation . Great snacks for the kids or parties too. Thanks

I’m sort of peppermint ground and mixed with the chocolate and then dip the pretzels in or lay them on wax paper and cover them with the chocolate.

i make chocolate covered mini pretzels for christmas every year…this year i also dipped pretzel sticks half way & rolled them in sprinkles…looked so cute in a glass to stand them up…very tasty…sweet/salty
