Week 1 Medifast Weight Loss Results
This is actually the third time I’ve started Medifast, but with the stops and starts in between being on the Medifast Program I’m starting from scratch and calling this my Week 1. And boy what a week it was!
Week 1 Results = -11.0 pounds!
Counting the minimal Week 1 (ish) loss of 0.2 pounds, total lost = 11.2 pounds.
I can not tell you how happy that 11.0 pound loss made me!
Granted this may be a combination Week 1 and Week 2 loss and just the day I weighed in the scale had said I’d gained 5 pounds, but however it happened, I am 11 pounds lighter.
I know it doesn’t work this way but I’ve already started counting how long it will take me to get to the entire 70 pounds I want to lose if I just keep losing at this rate. It makes me a little giddy to be honest.
Pre-baby weight by my birthday? Could it be done? I can’t wait to find out!
But if I’m going to be successful I need to figure out how to stay on program even with trips and travel interruptions. The fact is that I have to work and that work involves traveling, so….
Traveling & Staying ON Track with Medifast
To help me time stick to the Medifast program while traveling, I ordered a TON of ready-to-go, easy-to-grab food options in this month’s order.
All of these foods can pretty much just be packed up and eaten on the go. The shakes require a water source and a shaker bottle, but that’s pretty darn easy.
The oatmeal will need a microwave but I found myself choosing the peach oatmeal over and over again out of my last food order so wanted to make sure I got some more.
I’m also trying these ready to go shakes which I think will be awesome for just grabbing and heading out the door. Although they won’t make it through security in my carry-on which is why I have the powder kind too.
All of those reasons I started Medifast still stand, PLUS I have the incentive to be a new smaller me by my birthday, so I am going to DO THIS!
I’d LOVE it if you joined me via Medifast (see coupon codes below) or just to help keep each other accountable with whatever program you’re using to lose weight.
Here are some of the prizes I’ve identified for hitting my weight loss goals:
- 10 pounds – mani/pedi – already met!
- 20 pounds – new sneakers
- 30 pounds – ?
- 40 pounds – ?
- 50 pounds – camera I’ve been eyeing
- 60 pounds – ?
- 70 pounds – ?
Ideas for prizes/incentives to help me stick with it for the entire 70 pounds?
